FU Frank---I, the Traditional Conservative, Voted for Ron Paul, the Classical Liberal

Got back not too long ago. I also saw Frank Luntz say on Fox that he didn't want to admit that he ate in a Denny's. Never been to one, but do I ever want to go! So take that you elitist snob. Some of us really do like pancakes and sausage.
Anyway, like I said, it's over for me. Had a hard time finding the Republican row. I also got ticked off by the people running the election. No, they didn't give me a hard time. They just don't listen. I told them how to pronounce my name and how to spell it. First they misspell it, then they mispronounce it. They also asked me if I was a Republican a few times. I'm hoping they forgot and it isn't some sort of security check QUICK WHAT'S YOUR MOTHER'S MAIDEN NAME?
Now I can contemplate which party I'm going to switch to. Maybe I'll be more traditional and switch to a third party. Maybe I'll write down "Monarchist." If Ron actually does win, I'll stay with the RP (Ron Paul...RP...Republican Party...RP?!).
You know the world is messed up when a traditional Conservative (Monarchist/Altar and Throne) greatly supports a Classical Liberal (Pro-Constitution). We do have a common enemy and may be allies for a long time. Down with the Neo-Jacobin Neocons! Vive le Christ-Roi! Vive Louis XX! Long live Ron Paul!
P.S. Giuliani was still on the ballot. Who wants to bet a lot of dopes are going to vote for him?

Rosary and Christmas Tree

My mom found my rosary beads in the couch today. Apparently, my grandma found them and was going to give them back but dropped it or something. Pretty glad I finally have a good set. I think I got them for my first communion.
The decorations are almost all up on the tree. I totally forgot about the awesome ornament I got from my parish about 8 years ago.

Non-political Sunday post!

Half truth, I do have to mention that I'm probably going to post something long in here about the worship of the state. I also finished my anti-Rudy video, so I'm going to upload that tomorrow and post it.
Okay, with that out of the way, I get to go on about my incredibly boring life.
My terrain pieces are coming along pretty well. Unfortunately, the hill I'm making is very warped. I'll hot glue it to the board, but I hope it'll be possible by the time I get to it. I've been avoiding sculpting the rock since it's going to be a pain to do. I did paint a tree, and it looks pretty good. I also re-flocked my barrow with Green Glade. It looks absolutely amazing. I might make three more and arrange them like the barrow in Shadow of the Colossus. Of course, that means resculpting the one I have a bit, but I think it'll look even more impressive.
I'm also thinking of starting a new army. I'll probably start a second Bretonnian army, but that's a given. I was thinking Wood Elves since, ya know, they live inside Bretonnia. Then I realised they were pansies that frollicked in the forest. I might consider High Elves when the new models come out, or possibly the Papal States themed Empire army. Of course, the real possibility is just converting some Dwarves into Chaos Dwarves. Or maybe an army of goblins!
On the 40K side of things, I made some rubble out of keyboard keys and some defensive positions out of those cards that to get to add money to your phone. I also made an airbase/helipad out of a platter container. I'm going to build some space marines, paint them bronze, and glue them around it. I love making statue models. I'll probably go hunting for some mesh to texture the landing area. Anyway, the little defensive walls are going to go near the base.
I'll probably be picking up some textured paint while I'm at it. Well, I need to, otherwise it wouln't look very concrete-ish.
Gosh, there has to be more to my life than modelling. Oh, yes, mandolin. I'm going to order a blue one. I should probably get a regular colored one. Oh well!

Warhammer goodness!

I just finished the barrow I was working on. Well, almost. I would have been done if some mdelling flock didn't get in the cracks. I really like the way it looks, so I'll dab a bit of glue here and there and sprinkle it. Then I realized that it would probably look much better with a base and decorations around it. I'll probably use the shrine looking thing in the bretonnian men-at-arms sprue.
There's really very few things that feel better than working on something for 4 hours and then sitting on my bed chillin' on the internet. Not as good as laying in the grass when it's cool though, but close.
What to make next...maybe a chapel?
Since it's Sunday, I won't write anything political or serious. I know, I know...I failed this morning. Then again, I decided to keep it lighthearted after I made that post.

Hydra Dominatus!

I started a Chaos army on Warhammer 40,000. Well, more like repairing it. I must say, some of the mutations are pretty awesome.
Obviously, my marine army is the Alpha Legion. Why? I really like their style, but of all the legions, their story is the best. I love their battlecries. I can imagine a terminator slaying hoardes of the loyalists yelling "For the Emperor!" mockingly over their screams. Hydra Dominatus is a good one too, especially after blasting a commissar's head off!
Anyway, I'll update y'all on how it goes.
In the meanwhile, I'm making scenery for Warhammer. I kind of messed up something cool yesterday, so I'm going to spend a while trying to repair it.

Well, I did it

I registered today. I was tempted to register independent or third party, but Ron Paul needs my vote, darn it. I'll probably become an independent or something after the election. But for the next few months, I'm standing shoulder to shoulder with the neoconservative army. Of course, fellow Paulites are too, so it's not as lonely.
Who would have thought that a good candidate would be around so quickly? At any rate, God bless Ron Paul!
